Notification

Applications on the prescribed form are invited for admission to B.Ed course for the academic session 2008-10 through distance mode at the Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu as per the following schedule:-

Sale of prospectus-cum-admission form: From 20/10/2008

Submission of Application form without late fee: upto 10/11/2008

(a) With late fee of Rs. 120/-: upto 17/11/2008
(b) With late fee of Rs. 230/-: upto 24/11/20008

The prospectus-cum-application form can be obtained from the Directorate of Distance Education on cash payment of Rs. 250/- or crossed demand draft drawn in favour of Director Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu, payable at Jammu. If required by post, send the crossed demand draft for specified amount along with a self addressed envelope of the size 18 x 24 cm bearing postage stamps worth Rs. 72/- subscribed “B.Ed Course”.

Eligibility conditions

A graduate from any recognized university and presently serving as full time teacher in recognized school within the territorial jurisdiction of Jammu University having at least two years teaching experience at the time of submission of application form for admission.

The NCTE Act is not applicable to the State of Jammu & Kashmir.

The University of Jammu has not authorized any person/agency to sell prospectus-cum-application form except the Directorate of Distance Education.
